Unrelenting Access

The second part to the Sketchbook Series, a small mixed media piece that explores the theme of unrelenting access, the constant search for entry points into new knowledge, spaces, and understandings. It reflects a desire to unlock something just out of reach, wanting release and fearing what follows.

The work combines printmaking, featuring the image of a key. Layers of acrylic mold, and red leather string is sewn directly into the canvas, acting as both a binding force and a metaphorical thread.
